AlgoFate calculates your Four Pillars chart from the birth details you provide, then combines interpretation logic based on traditional theory with AI language generation to create your report. This page explains which data is used, how it is calculated, and how the results are turned into readable guidance.
Analysis Pipeline

Because calculation order matters, AlgoFate always follows the same four-step sequence.
Data input
You provide your date and time of birth, gender, a topic of interest (Career Fit, Wealth, Life Path, Romantic Compatibility, Work Compatibility, or Family & Children), and optionally a specific question. These inputs become the basis for every later calculation.
Four Pillars chart calculation
Your birth details are converted using calendrical data to calculate the Year, Month, Day, and Hour Pillars. The system then derives the Five Elements distribution, Ten Gods relationships, and major and annual cycles using rule-based Four Pillars logic.
AI interpretation
The calculated chart is compared with a Four Pillars interpretation database to identify relevant patterns. These patterns are combined with your selected topic and question, and an AI language model turns them into personalized explanations. The emphasis changes according to each person’s chart.
Report assembly and delivery
The results are structured for the Free Preview, Mini Report, or Premium Report. The free result appears immediately on screen, while paid reports are prepared as PDFs and emailed in order after in-app payment.

What information is collected, and why?
We collect only the minimum information needed for the calculation. The table below shows how each item is used.

If you do not know your birth time — You can apply using only the year, month, and day. The Hour Pillar and interpretations directly tied to birth time, such as detailed later-life trends, will be excluded.
Step 02 · Calculation
How the Four Pillars chart is calculated.
This stage is a rule-based calculation without subjective interpretation. The same birth details always produce the same chart structure.
Calculating the Four Pillars chart
Using calendrical data, the birth date and time are converted into the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches of the Year, Month, Day, and Hour Pillars. These four pillars form the foundation of the report.
- Year Pillar — ancestry and foundational background
- Month Pillar — social activity and family relationships
- Day Pillar — the self and partnership themes
- Hour Pillar — later-life and children themes, when birth time is provided
Five Elements distribution
The chart’s eight characters are classified into Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, and their proportions are calculated. Patterns of excess or deficiency provide a basis for interpreting tendencies and risks.

Ten Gods relationship calculation
Using the Day Master as the reference, the relationships with the other seven characters are classified into the Ten Gods, such as Direct Officer, Seven Killings, Direct Wealth, Indirect Wealth, Eating God, and Hurting Officer. These relationships are key variables in money, relationship, and career interpretation.

Major and annual cycle calculation
The system calculates major cycles that change roughly every ten years and annual cycles that change each year. The report’s timing analysis and 7-, 30-, and 90-day action guides are built on these calculations.

Step 03 · AI Interpretation
How calculations become readable guidance.
The raw results are closer to tables and numbers. The interpretation stage turns them into a report that can be read and understood.
Comparison with the Four Pillars interpretation database
The combination of the chart, Five Elements distribution, and Ten Gods relationships is compared with interpretation patterns organized from traditional Four Pillars theory. The most relevant items are selected first.
Prioritization by topic and question
Among the selected interpretation items, those most relevant to your chosen topic, such as money, and your specific question are prioritized. Even with the same chart, the report’s emphasis changes according to the selected topic.
Narration with AI language generation
An AI language model turns the prioritized interpretation items into natural prose. Rather than listing technical terms, this stage explains them in everyday language.
The roles of rule-based calculation and AI interpretation — Structural values such as the Four Pillars chart, Five Elements, Ten Gods, and major cycles are produced by fixed calculation rules and are not changed arbitrarily. AI is used only in the interpretation and writing stage to turn those values into readable explanations and action guidance.

Calculation standards

- The same birth details always produce the same structural values.
- If no birth time is provided, Hour Pillar calculations are automatically excluded.
Interpretation limits
- AI interpretation uses probabilistic pattern matching and does not predict the future with certainty.
- People with the same birth details, including twins, may still have very different life circumstances.
- The report does not replace financial, medical, legal, or other professional advice. It is reference material for self-understanding and decision-making.

Is the interpretation really produced by AI?
Structural values such as the chart, Five Elements, Ten Gods, and major cycles are produced by rule-based calculations. An AI language model is used during the interpretation and writing stage to turn these values into report text.
Can people with the same birth details receive different reports?
The chart itself is calculated the same way, but report priorities depend on the selected topic and specific question. Therefore, people with the same birth details may see different emphasis when they choose different topics.
Does an uncertain birth time significantly change the result?
Birth time is used only to calculate the Hour Pillar. If it is unknown or inaccurate, only Hour Pillar-related interpretations, mainly later-life and children details, are excluded. Year, Month, and Day Pillar interpretations remain available.
Does AI interpretation depart from traditional Four Pillars theory?
Structural values, including the chart, Five Elements, Ten Gods, and major cycles, follow traditional calculation rules. AI is used to express the results in readable language; it does not change the calculation rules.
